Hossa's worst nightmare
Well it's official folks... the Detroit Red Wings will meet the Pittsburgh Penguins in the Stanley Cup Finals... again. The Red Wings finished off the Chicago Blackhawks this evening in 5 games defeating their opponents 2-1 overtime.
A year ago unrestricted free agent forward Marian Hossa ditched his Penguin blacks, for a one year contract and a fresh new Red Wing jersey and a quest to win a Stanley Cup with a team that he was certain would help get him there. Little did he realize that he may actually have to face off against the club he abandoned. Could there be more pressure on any single player in this series than Hossa? Captain Bosh thinks not!
Your friend on ice,
Captain Bosh

You're probably right - and that's what kind of scares me as a Pens fan. I wish Hossa didn't need another reason to elevate his game, but so be it. No denying it makes for a pretty amazing side story. Now if only Osgood would get injured and Ty Conklin would take over starting duties. Then the irony would just amplify.
Let's hope for a good series, boys. I'm not making any predictions beyond that.
