Sundin debut tonight?
There is a good chance that we will see Mats Sundin make his long awaited debut this season for the Vancouver Canucks as they face off against the Edmonton Oilers tonight.
Sundin stated depending how he feels this morning following yesterday's second full practice with his new club, he plans to play. If not he expects to be on the ice at home Friday night against the St. Louis Blues.
Mats Sundin has been playing on a line with former Toronto Maple Leaf team mate Kyle Wellwood (who's been great this year) and forward Mason Raymond and will be part of the Canucks second power play unit.
Your friend on ice,
Captain bosh

Ruutu suspended two games for biting Peters
Buffalo, N.Y. (AP)—Ottawa Senators forward Jarkko Ruutu has been suspended by the NHL for two games without pay for biting Buffalo Sabres enforcer Andrew Peters.
The NHL announced Wednesday that Ruutu will lose $37,707 in pay and miss Ottawa’s game at Boston on Thursday and a home game against the New York Rangers on Saturday.
The ruling came a day after Ruutu bit down on Peters’ glove during an altercation in front of the Senators bench in the first period of Buffalo’s 4-2 victory. The force of Ruutu’s bite ripped Peters’ glove off and broke the skin on the player’s right thumb.
Ruutu, suspended for the second time this season, denied he bit Peters despite replays showing he chomped down on the player’s glove.
They did not even give him a penalty for this, Peters got an unsportsmanlike conduct call for freaking out because he was just BIT!!!!
Oh Ottawa......shameless...
