Best new rivalry
Is there anything better than watching a Washington Capitals and Pittsburgh Penguins game these days?
In this age of politically correctness (not sure if that's even a word), it is great to see players from two teams openly discuss how they don't like each other. Especially from the NHL's biggest stars. Ovechkin dislikes Malkin. Malkin dislikes Ovechkin. Semin thinks Crosby is overrated. Crosby dislikes Ovechkin. It's beautiful.
Last night the Caps delivered a 6-3 pounding to the rival Penguins on the back of a two goal and one assist night from Alexander Ovechkin. The Capitals snapped a three game losing streak, while the Penguins spiraling into a deeper slump have now lost 8 of their last 10. Rumors are abound that Coach Michel Therrien is on borrowed time, and his tenure behind the bench may be ending soon.
Sidney Crosby also left the match with an injury, which in the post-game he declared as being insignificant, but the Penguins have to be concerned.
Your friend on ice,
Captain Bosh
