Staved!
The Pittsburgh Penguins have staved off elimination after a thrilling triple overtime affair. Penguins goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury backstopped his club to a 4-3 win on a 55 save effort to force a game 6 and bring the series back to Pittsburgh.
Fleury made a save after save this morning to keep his club's season alive, and if the Pens do go on to win the Stanley Cup, he has to be seriously considered for the Con Smythe Trophy.
From a fan perspective this game was unreal. I'm still on edge right now, and am trying to figure out how I'm going to be able to get some sleep. Unbelievably great hockey. Detroit holds a 3-2 series lead and now has two more opportunities to win the Cup.

I think Fleury might win it even if the wings win the cup, to be honest. he's the only reason the penguins had a chance in that game. Those saves were just incredible. My jaw was on the floor so much I needed a mop.
Epic game. This is seriously one of the best series I've seen in a while.
Or at least it's not the Finals from last year when Anaheim just dismantled the Senators.

Monster game for Fleury, no doubt. Long way to go, but last night made it much easier for Pens fans to hold their heads with pride regarding this series no matter the outcome.
And yeah...much better than last year's Finals.
