Hey Hey Selanne!
Teemu Selanne officially announced his return to the NHL and the Anaheim Might Ducks today.
Selanne who had pondered retirement for the summer and half of the regular season, felt he still had the passion to play. The Anaheim Ducks and the star winger agreed to terms on a one year contract for $1.5 million, which will pay Selanne roughly $600,000 for the remainder of this season.
Selanne will be an offensive boost for the Ducks as he led the team in scoring last year with 90 points (40 goals, 50 assists) in 80 games played. The Ducks will be one of the teams to go through in order to come out of the West for certain.
By the way, for you Fantasy Managers, if he's still available in your league, scoop him up.
Your friend on ice,
Captain Bosh

Wow. I was guessing he'd come back, but I didn't see it happening the day after the All-Star game. That's great news. I hope he does well. The Ducks were playing some good hockey before the break, and one can only assume this will make them even better.
Oh, and Ryan Getzlaf is going bald. I just thought I would mention that because it surprised me yesterday.

Again: a really poorly kept secret. There've been a lot of these this year, ay?
But that being said, I think I speak for all Western Conference fans who don't support the ducks when I say "fuuuuck..."

Jeff, seriously dude. Relax. If the Red Wings win two more games they practically clinch the President's Trophy.
The West is basically a race to see who can win second.

The president's trophy? Who cares about the president's trophy? Not only does it not help you win the Cup, it's getting to the point of being cursed.

I hate to concede this, but I will never be able to do anything this manly in my life.
