Red Storm Rising
Evgeni Malkin has finally surfaced.....in Los Angeles, California! After several days of living in parts unknown, Malkin finally made his way State-side and is receiving counsel on how best to find himself in a Pittsburgh Penguins uniform this season.
Malkin met his agent J.P. Barry in Helsinki, Finland when he was in possession of his passport, and the two went into hiding till he could secure a travel visa. Once recieved he made his way to L.A. For all the details on this story check out the article at TSN.ca.
One step closer to Steel Town folks!
Anaheim trades Vishnevski
After a nasty arbitration hearing, and a reluctant acceptance of $1 million (and change) award, the Ducks finally rid themselves of defenceman Vitaly Vishnevski. Anaheim traded Vishnevski to the Atlanta Thrashers for forward Karl Stewart and second round pick in next years entry draft.

Malkin in L.A...What can I say, except I hope someone signed him up for his own reality show while he's in Tinsletown. This kid saves the drama for everybody's mamma. (sorry)
Yahoo! has their top 50 players as chosen by their fantasy gurus. Some interesting positioning, especially Forsberg's exceptionally low seed. He might be a steal this year if people forget about him and he gets to play most of the season.

Speaking of, my boy Cory Stillman is out 3-4 months from shoulder surgery. Ten to one says he comes back before then, scores seventy points, and remains the undisputed king of underrated players.
